David C. Whipple was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1979, after graduating with distinction from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, J.D. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Michigan State University.

Mr. Whipple has been a member of the St. Clair County Bar Association since 1979 and its President in 1995-1996.  

He is AV Peer Review Rated by LexisNexis/Martindale-Hubbell. The AV Peer Review rating is the highest rating allowed. It attests to a lawyer's legal ability and professional ethics, and reflects the confidential opinions of the Bar and the Judiciary.

• President of the Port Huron Marysville Chamber of Commerce in 1987.

• Vice Chairperson of the St. Clair Community Growth Alliance in 1991.

• Chairman of the Port Huron Hospital Foundation from 1990-1995.

• President of the Blue Water Council Boy Scouts in 2000-2002.

• Elected Member-State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly from 1986-1992.

• Appointed Hearing Member for the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board since 1995.
