Charles G. Kelly was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1975, after graduating cum laude from Wayne State University Law School. He holds a Bachelor's Degree with distinction from the University of Michigan. Mr. Kelly has been a member of the St. Clair County Bar Association since 1975 and was its President in 1991. 

  • Former Business Law Instructor for the St. Clair County Community College.

  • Past Director and President of the International Center for the Study of Canadian/American Trade.

  • Elected Member-State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly from 1994-1999. 

  • Trustee for the Community Foundation of St. Clair County.

  • Appointed Hearing Member for the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board since 1994.

  • Appointed Member of the Federal Judicial Merit Selection Committee for U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1993, 1997 and 1999.

  • Past President of the Blue Water Area YMCA.

  • Past President of the Visiting Nurses Association of St. Clair County.

  • Past President of the Port Huron Golf Club.

  • Chairperson, Major Gifts Committee, Port Huron Hospital Foundation.

  • Former Advisory Director, Blue Water Mental Health Clinic.

  • Past President of the Port Huron Estate Planning Council.
